Head of Technology & Architecture
In this role you’ll play a key part in developing a team of Tech Leads and Solution Architects — while also building company’s future technology landscape and helping grow technical excellence across our markets and projects. You’ll oversee the direction of our technologies by evaluating new tools and features, and by providing guidance and support to the people in your team drive enablement actions across functions within the company.
You’ll combine people leadership with hands-on project work (up to 50% of your time), staying close to customer needs and our delivery reality while shaping our internal roadmap.
What you’ll do (main responsibilities):
Participate as key contributor to company’s technology strategy and drive enablement of key competencies with your team.
Provide technical direction to the whole organization by evaluating new technologies and features, and guiding Tech Leads on best practices and implementation choices.
Lead and develop the team of Tech Leads and Solution Architects with full people responsibility (including Growth Discussions and skill development).
Collaborate closely in different sales engagements with Value Engineering to ensure we propose solutions that combine the right technologies for the right purpose.
Contribute to projects (up to 50%)—customer projects and internal initiatives—bringing leadership and technical expertise where it matters most.
Manage some of our key technology partners.
Work with PMO and communicate proactively to ensure resourcing for your team is accurate and project are equipped with right competences.
Cooperate with Team Managers across DWF countries, supporting alignment, technology enablement, shared ways of working, and cross-market development.
You might be the person we’re looking for if you have:
A solid technical background, ideally in different automation products / AI technologies.
Previous people leadership experience (managing or leading), with the ability to support, mentor, and develop team members.
Experience in building technology strategies, enablement execution and driving change.
Experience working in a technical service environment, preferably platform engineering (Microsoft Azure), solution delivery, or service operations.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to build trust and foster alignment across teams and stakeholders. Customer facing experience, both as part of sales engagements and deliveries.
Fluent English (written and spoken); additional languages are a plus.
A structured and proactive way of working—able to manage priorities, support decision-making, and drive progress.
A genuine interest in continuous improvement, modern technologies, and developing service excellence.
