Currently we are looking for:
Internal IT/Security Engineer
We are looking for an Internal IT/Security Engineer to help maintain and develop secure, reliable, and efficient technology services for our employees and business. In this role, you will combine hands-on IT support and infrastructure responsibilities with information security activities. You will work closely with colleagues across the organisation, support the secure use of cloud services and business applications, and contribute to continuous improvements in our internal IT and security operations.
Key tasks and responsibilities:
Security & Compliance:
Implement security measures to protect networks and sensitive data from unauthorised access.
Monitor and analyse security threats and vulnerabilities.
Conduct security audits and respond to incidents.
Manage and enforce security policies and procedures.
Database Management
Design and manage databases to ensure data integrity and availability.
Optimise database performance and conduct regular backups.
End-User Support
Provide technical support to end-users and resolve IT-related issues.
Install and configure hardware and software.
Document and track support requests using ticketing tools.
Deliver on-site support for local users.
Monitor network performance and address connectivity issues.
Install, configure, and maintain servers, operating systems, and business-critical applications.
Perform routine system upgrades, patches, and maintenance tasks.
Maintain documentation for system configurations and procedures.
We would like to hear from you if you have:
Minimum 1 year of experience in internal IT support/security engineering
Solid knowledge of networking, hardware, software, security, and cloud environments.
Proven experience with Windows and macOS troubleshooting.
Strong focus on user support and excellent work prioritisation.
Familiarity with ticketing tools and support workflows.
Good communication skills in English, both verbally and in writing, and previous experience in working with colleagues in an international environment
willingness to learn, take ownership, and contribute to a positive and security-conscious company culture
Relevant certifications such as Microsoft, CompTIA Security+, CISSP, CISM, or ISO 27001 are beneficial but not required. Experience with security monitoring, automation, scripting, or governance, risk, and compliance tools is also an advantage.
