HR Specialist to join our office in Helsinki
We're on the lookout for an HR Specialist to join us in Finland. You'll be part of a vibrant international team of 4, perfect for someone who enjoys working independently while enhancing the employee journey. We have 70+ fantastic employees at our HQ in Finland, that you will be interacting with on daily basis, but also you will take a vital part in global HR support to DWF colleagues and manager globally (in Poland, Sweden, UK, Ireland and US).
In this role, you will be responsible for employment lifecycle in Finland and building exceptional workplace experience. You will oversee and improve various HR processes, manage relationships with external partners such as payroll, and play important role in HR communication. Your regular tasks will include:
- Full responsibility for all payroll related topics and being the key contact person to our external partner
- acting as an advisor on Finnish labour legislation in day-to-day operations, policies, and processes
- developing our core people processes - we have launched recently a new HRIS (Personio)
- managing employee benefits offering, making sure it's both competitive and aligned with employee needs
- supporting managers in their daily needs- both short term on ad hoc basis as well as facilitating regular meetings both in person and online
Furthermore, depending on your skills set and interests you will work on global HR projects such as onboarding or employer branding to name a few. This is a unique learning opportunity on a local and global level, and you will play key role in supporting local events and wellbeing.
We might be looking for you, if you:
✨ have a hands-on attitude and an understanding of the employment lifecycle from an HR perspective
✨ are passionate for helping others and a solution-oriented mindset
✨ feel comfortable with routine tasks while always seeking ways to improve processes in payroll, employment life cycle, benefits, contract management etc.
✨ have 1-2 years of professional experience from HR generalist type of role and preferably a university degree linked to HR-related area
✨ worked with modern HRIS tools and have interest in analytics and technology
✨ speak fluently in both Finnish AND English
It is highly advantageous if you understand professional services/consulting business.
