Digital Workforce is a rapidly growing Intelligent Process Automation (IPA) service company operating in Northern Europe. Our mission is to improve knowledge work and business productivity by leaving dull routines to digital workers and freeing up humans to more creative and meaningful tasks. Overall, we are now a team of 180 and growing fast!

The rapidly growing IPA business, internationalisation and product development mean that we operate in fast paced work environment and value involvement from all team members. At the core of everything we do is a learning mindset which means that at Digitial Workforce we want to constantly grow both as a company and on an individual level. Since the company was established three years ago, Digital Workforce has expanded from Finland to all Nordic countries and to Poland.

Today Digital Workforce has over 100 large customers and 50 of those are utilising Robot as a Service (RAAS). RAAS is the only industrialised ISO 20000:1 certified robotic cloud service on the market. The company has automated over 800 processes to its customers. Customers using to an increasing extent Digital Workforce’s Run Management to maintain and enhance their critical business processes in the production.

Digital Workforce is partnering the leading intelligent automation vendors like Blue Prism and UiPath in Robotic Process Automation and Boost.ai in chatbots. In addition, the company is partnering with Microsoft and utilising its Azure platform and Cognitive Services to provide Robot as a Service.

During the first half of 2019, Digital Workforce is expanding to Continental-Europe as well as to UK markets. The expansion with take place with own subsidiaries and also throughout selected partnerships. The target is to provide all Digital Workforce offerings from day one in new locations. The Competence Centre located in Poland with over 60 employees will support new countries by providing certified consulting resources, support with extended service hours. Digital Workforce will provide 24/7 services to its customers in the near future.

Digital Workforce has grown from zero to GBP 11.500.000 in three years. The target for 2019 is roughly over GBP 21.000.000. The company is owned by three founding members who are working as partners in Digital Workforce and three investors. One of the investors is the largest listed private equity company in Finland.

Senior Sales Executive
What you’ll do

As the first Sales Executive in the UK your main goal is to Launch and develop Digital Workforce in the UK. You will drive Robot as a Service cloud offering with complementary Consulting and Development services sales in conjunction with vendor partners, Blue Prism and UiPath.

  • You own the entire sales strategy and execution, including territory & account planning, pipeline & opportunity management, and forecasting.
  • Promote Digital Workforce’s services directly to Customers and in parallel build relationships with vendor partners, Consulting, and Technology companies.
  • Firmly established in the Nordics the UK is a new market and will require contacts to open doors and to co-sell with partners to grow the territory and become a trusted advisor.
  • Work intensely with the co-founders and project delivery teams to ensure customer and partner satisfaction through achievement of business goals and turn each customer into a reference.  

What you need to succeed

  • Strong sales acumen with focus on the services business
  • Experience in performing sales planning and pipeline management
  • Excellent negotiation skills – you will negotiate engagement pricing and contractual agreements
  • Ability to demonstrate a comprehensive understanding and experience of value-based selling and contracting to medium and large enterprises
  • Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships at both, C-level and functional levels  

Highest work standards and structured methodologies

  • Pro-active, ambitious individual with a ‘‘can do’’ attitude who goes the extra mile
  • Ability to multi-task within tight timeframes, and rapidly amend plans and tactics in response to changes in priority or situation
  • Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
  • Detailed planning and control skills
  • Leveraging internal resources and business partners to provide solutions to customers’ challenges  

Additionally, we would like to see

  • A proven track record of value-based sales of IT Services
  • Primary degree, preferably in a business discipline or Computer Science
  • Experience of co-selling with partners
  • A mix of large company and small but high growth employers. Ideally within a 1-hour commute of central London
  • Experience working with business services in multinational organizations
  • Experience in knowledge work process automation
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skill
  • Readiness to travel occasionally
